I don't think I explicitly posted about Picocon on LJ, although I know I commented on several other peoples' posts about it in advance, so say I was going; but I did add myself to the FB event for it in advance for just this sort of reason. (I realize that, given the FB works, it's random if you happen to be alerted to anything that happens on it, and then only if you're checking opportunely.) Further, since it's a daycon, I don't think it would have occurred to me to talk about it much in advance. I didn't have to travel much to get there!

No, I didn't meet tanngrisnir there, but there were a good 100 or so people at the con. Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't meet anyone much new; just got to know people I'd previously met better. Hopefully other people were diligent in talking to any first-time attendees there!
