Over Christmas we will be visiting a Canadian in Wales, and a Brit who's about to emigrate to Australia. My household consists of an American and a Brit living in Canada. Lj friends include a Canada and Australian couple in England, an American and Brit couple in America, an American in England, and an American in Canada.

Just pondering the places academia takes us...

Not this trip, I'm afraid - it's a Cardiff-Preston-Durham trip, which doesn't take us into London's orbit. The trip after this will be for a wedding, again in Durham. But next summer we're likely to make it to London since we'll be overdue for a trip to see friends and favorite restaurants by then. (Well... not just SEE favorite restaurants.) So if you happen to be in town whenever we make it there this summer, I'd happily meet up.

Mine would be more effective if I was persistant enough to run them all up on only one or two airline companies instead of the 5 or so they're currently scattered between. But they are many indeed!

I just need to use mine. I have over 100,000 and I'm too lazy to actually cash them in. They keep threatening to take them away each year but never actually do it. Hmmmmmmm....

What a decadently large amount. You could fly somewhere first class.

My mother was the last person to use any of my frequent flier miles. She flew a return trip to Italy on them.
