I have edited to correct it - how encouraging! That ups my hopes of getting to eat there sometime soon. (Due to why we're in Preston on a regular basis, I almost never get to eat out around here. I must make a point of it sometime.)

I must say that, looking at the menu, Heathcote's seem to be rather less ambitious than I remember. They used to have a seven course menu de degustation with rather more ambitious dishes than the current offerings. They are doing fish and chips now which is either very anbitious or a joke for a resto that used to have a Michelin star.
