I've made for you a sofa-beast!
A sofa bear! A sofa, 'least
that's what I like to think it be,
a sofa thing for you and me.
I've made for you a flexi-plane!
A table, some would say again,
but I know better, flexy-thing,
so wide and flat and tied with string.
I've made for you a storage chair,
it has two shelves, and colors rare,
it's cheery, bright, and glows at night!
It's comfortable, if you are light.
I've made for you a ruggish flop,
it's padded - you can lie on top -
and if they're clean, please rest your feet.
It's smooth and soft and wrapped in sheet.
I've made for you a matching suite
of furniture, of sorts, complete,
of cardboad boxes, things and stuff:
it could break if you are too rough.
And so enjoy your furnished room
ornamented, in costume,
'twas nearly free, these things to me,
and nearly tasteful, you'll agree.
