Thank you! It's exciting to see what the house is actually like after all this time. Some of it's better, some of it needs more work, but all in all, I think we did well with it. Especially if we find the right furniture to put everything away.

Thank you! It was exciting to discover what the garden is like, since the last time we saw it, it was in February. It's lovely! And there's more space at the front than I'd remembered, so we're thinking we can do lots of sun-friendly herb pots there.

Thank you. We haven't a clue! We don't know when we're moving, we don't know when we'll have enough furniture, and we don't know when the kitchen will be done. Do any of these things matter for a housewarming?

Thank you and yes! Completion actually happened in the morning, but the vendors weren't quite done moving out until nearly 5 pm. Still, it wasn't actually a problem for us, and they left it clean and with flowers!

Thank you! We really haven't planned too much about the move (although we should do it soon). Instead, we're putting our current energy largely into scouting out furniture.

Thank you!!! We've spent hours measuring things today. We came home and are still measuring things, trying to make prospective furniture fit as efficiently as possible. At this rate, we'll have some crowded but well-coordinated rooms, and (hopefully) at least two rooms in which furniture is distributed in a more civilized way.

Thank you! We last saw the garden in February. Now it's lovely, especially the wonderful-smelling white rose vine twining around the office. Also, the vendors turned out to be good: they left the place clean, and with a lovely bouquet of flowers for us!

The patio is even bigger than I'd remembered, which makes up for the living room/dining room being smaller!
