There is actually a Cambridge Waffle Company, which serves both savoury and sweet waffles:

Unfortunately, the one time I've been there, I made the terrible mistake of ordering a double sweet waffle, thinking it would be reasonably small. It was sickly beyond belief, and the person I was with couldn't finish his. I should try a savoury one some time.
