I hadn't opened the blinds this morning for some reason - it looked grey and overcast and the main reason to open them is to have daylight. C. called and wondered if I'd seen the snow - and indeed, there it is, covering the leafs and grass and cars, but none of the streets or sidewalks - they're just damp. It's gone away again already and the world looks full of sunshine and smashed pumpkins.
