Instead of resting when I arrived home today, I cooked. They were low-key recipes, involving things cooking themselves much more than me having to deal with them, and both were from my two different Ithaca/Moosewood cookbooks. I had barley veggie stew and brownies. Dinner was good.

I'm still feverish, but that's rather irrelevant to the most aggravating ache I have - my knee is hurting badly - C. thinks it's a muscle cramp that's failing to leave me alone.

I wuv going to the Moosewood. I'm not nearly so good at cooking it myself-- it never turns out as nummy-- but in the restaurant, it just rocks.

I'd love to go, but as is, the bright side of never having been is that I can't compare the recipes to the originals - probably just as well. As long as what I cook turns out reasonably edible and even better, tasty, I'm content.

I'd be able do cook lots more of the things in my two Moosewood cookbooks if I had a blender though... maybe one day. It'd be an easy way to make fruit smoothies too, and I really love those.
