Yesterday was bright sunny, snowing furiously, raining hard, sprinkling lightly, and slightly cloudy. It was like a weather sampler, a bit of everything for those curious to know the range of locally available weather.

Today, the police horses clip-clopped by as they do every few days. They come by on a regular basis, but I still rush to the window to see them every time. There aren't many animals around here. There are birds who sing their hearts out at 3 am. Occasionally, people walk their tiny dogs. The neighborhood is barren of most kinds of creatures. This is why horses trotting through are a relief, living creatures to supplement the humans who are the stock occupants of large expanses of blocks of flats.

Unrelatedly, Lois McMaster Bujold fans may wish to have a look at [livejournal.com profile] iconsbycurtana's latest set of icons.

Today we've got 75 degrees and sunny - whereas yesterday it was bloody cold and grey. Yay for March!

Did you get purple forked lightning and hailstones the size of maltesers? I did!
