Chocolate Week 2006 and the World Chocolate Awards are coming up: the 16th-22nd of October. And what would Chocolate Week be without lots of events? I'm sorely tempted by the chocolate tour, especially I've been thinking of organizing one myself for a while.

The whole day chocolate tour or a self-determined wander through chocolatey goodness? Either way, I'd love to do it with you!

[livejournal.com profile] haggisthesecond and I have booked places on the Saturday chocolate tour. Come with if you feel like splashing out on a full day of chocolate goodness. Elsewise, shall we try to catch some of the other chocolatety events that week?

Yes! Thursday or Saturday are options for me. Saturday is more tempting because of the evening event connected to it - but equally most likely to sell out soonest. Hmmm....

It's a bit of a splurge - but then again, it's a full day of meals, plus transport. Just how tempting is it?

I don't need company to do it, but the offer of company would certainly make it that much more tempting for me.

Hurray! I just tried starting the registration process and I'll need to contact the company for clarification. Although the Fri and Sat tours have separate product IDs, both show up as "Friday" tours on the product cart. I suspect it's inattention to detail on their part, but I don't want to risk it without confirming, since I really can't do the Friday.

ok, please could you let me know what the answer is and then I'll register for the Saturday as well? Friday's not an option for me either.

All fixed! The only thing that still looks buggy about the registration process was lack of the "thank you" screen displaying. But the receipt emails all look in good order.

FYI for anyone else thinking of doing this: payment is via PayPal.

hmm, I just booked via seventypercent.com and didn't have to use Paypal, which is good since Iain doesn't have an account anymore. I just used Mastercard.

Anyway, I'm booked! YAY!

Hmm. I booked via the Chocolate Tours website; I'm relieved to know other options were available.

Hurray for chocolate! And a day touring London with you!

Please eat chocolate for me. I am trying to avoid it till the migraines seem well and truly gone, so you would be doing a Good Thing!

In a fit of noble self-sacrifice, I shall dedicate some of my chocolate eating to you.
