Perhaps I am feeling unfocused because it's been so long since I've really created anything. My morning felt productive: more paper sorting and organizing, some of my Latin homework (A funeral oration for Giovanni Strozi this week), this afternoon I tinkered with my navigation page - it's much better, much more usable, but - as C. is quick to point out - quite cluttered looking. Perhaps I will have a play with stylesheets to see how else I could set the thing up.

Speaking of web pages, I can finally connect to grendel again having been frustrated for lack of ftp for a while: the joys of ssh! This means I have the ability to update web pages properly for the first time in ages. Maybe this is a good incentive for taking a bit to play with ssh. On the other hand, I really need to work up an inital working draft of my conference paper this week.

It's cool and overcast today - we haven't been skating in ages, but the weather looks risky. Not sure...
