Niagara Falls Do you see the flumes of white just below the center of this humidity-fogged photo? That's Niagara Falls. I could see the Sky Dome in Toronto gleaming from across Lake Ontario, flying from NYC to Detroit.

Kalamazoo is lovely, clement, green, and full of blossoms. The air is heavy with the scent of lilacs. Wednesday was a good day for reunions. As the Toronto crowds arrived, car by car, more friends arrived. I keep discovering more people unexpectedly here. As I wandered back jetlagged to the dorms last night, I ran into C., from IA, who did her MA at Toronto several years back. Unexpectedly and delightfully, C.M. (who was also at Toronto several years ago) is also here. I've now met the Digital Medievalist. (she's so much younger in person than she looks in her picture!) Bilbo's is currently closed. They've moved locations and haven't reopened yet at the new one, which is further from campus.
