I've never seen the opera, but I have a very lovely poster of it that my Dad gave me once upon a time when his former company sponsored a production of it in Philly.

It wasn't up when you visited last, but it's hanging right in the hallway now -- can't miss it. It's kind of a Renaissance-ish looking Queen of Spades card. P'raps I'll take a photo of it when I get the digital camera back from my friend.

I'd love to see it. Card motifs were notably absent from the stage set and posters for this production - perhaps it's already done frequently in other productions. Except for what the script literally provided, such as some actual card-sized cards in the final gambling scene, they really didn't make use of the obvious card theme the opera had.
