If for some reason you're in Venice right now and reading this - tomorrow is the last night of Porpora's Mitridate. Go see it! It's your last opportunity!

Relatedly: if a brand can be brandished, can a sword be swordished?

Oddly, I think a sword can also be brandished ...

You can brandish a lot of things, including brands, swords, axes, kitchen utensils, bunches of keys, whatever might seem a bit dangerous....

I didn't know you could brandish a brand! Or is that brand a brandish? ^^

I tried to figure out a way to work radishes into this whole conundrum, but I just couldn't do it. If it can be held in your hand, I think it's possible to brandish just about anything.

Well, according to many traditional sources, a sword can be referred to as a brand.

If you're an aquafarmer, though, you want to make sure your stock doesn't get away, and is easily identifiable if it does, so of course you'll want to brand your swordfish.
