How ever did I manage for several months without a printer of my own? No wonder I've been struggling to accomplish any number of things. I write well on computer screens and proofread badly. It's a pain to print off and mail in forms when the printing off portion of the task requires an expedition to a photocopy store somewhere far away. Now I can not only print again, I can print in duplex!
It's all very well to read through prose when written pen on paper, but the computer is only a ghost of pen and paper when there's no printer to put the ink to fiber.
In other small electronics news, the boiler - which was not working properly - was fixed in the late hours of last night by an electrician. How lovely it is to have an ample supply of hot water!
