Stars

A ghost of Milky Way floats behind the vivid pale flecks of stars in the curve of sky above. The stars are sharp and uncountable in the clear air, while a light blanket of mist washes off of the fields. Our breath drifts off in the air; we breath out mist. The night is beautiful.

What a beautiful evocation of a New England night. Here, the upper Adriatic sky is covered with clouds and the city is wet with persistent rain tonight.
