Today was Mountain Day??? I wish I could just automatically take the day off. I miss Mountain Day!

How do you celibrate mountain day

Mountain Day is a holiday celebrated by some universities in New England, but in any sort of coordinated way. It's a surprise holiday from classes, sometime in late September or early October. My undergraduate uni, Smith College, was one of the places that celebrated it. Early one morning, all the campus bells would ring, and it would mean there were no classes that day! The idea is that it's on a day with really good weather, so everyone can take off, climb mountains, and celebrate the outdoors.
