I saw Charlie and teh Chocolate Factory on the IMAX screen. What fun! And there's a CatCF karaoke site here!

The movie doesn't open here until July 29th. I can't wait! The IMAX screen sounds like a fabulous way to see it.

Yes, yes it does.
I'm currently eying a Chantal enamel set (red!) but I'm unsure whether switching from stainless to enamel is good. Even if it is red!

I've never worked with enamel pots, but from all I've read, it sounds like they're fabulous for things like stews, anything requiring good long-term heat retention in particular. I get most of my information on cookware and the like from eGullet these days. Here's an occasionally-relevant thread on choosing cookware.

But if you had a lovely set of pots and pans, they'd decorate your place beautifully and all your friends could admire how nice your cookware is. They'd look even prettier if you never used them, after all.
