I'm not in London yet, but Colin is. I have no reason to think he would have been in any place at any time directly affected by this morning's attacks, but neither have I been able to reach him yet to know for certain, and the mobile network is rather understandably jammed up.
I don't know what to do about my flight, currently scheduled for this evening. Flights are still operating normally to Heathrow, and the Heathrow Express is back in operation, but most other forms of ground transit may be seriously affected by this for days to come. I could make it to Heathrow - but could I go anywhere from there anytime soon?
Update: Colin's parents received a text message from him this morning saying he'd safely arrived at work. Even if work closed down, it's not more than an hour-and-a-half walk home for him at most.
And even better: a text from Colin himself. He's safe and at work.
