An inch of paper

214 pages of printed-out chapters. I haven't written the brief introduction and conclusion yet. A certain amount of material will come and go with revisions. It's a good thing I just bought new ink cartridges.

Time to start editing!

Editing! Lots and lots of editing! Except with the internet flickering in and out all weekend (well, DNS resolution, anyways), and lots of cleaning to do, I've been very fidgety, which is better for scanning in more images than editing. But if I'm organized enough - maybe I'll be mostly done with a full draft for my advisor within the week?

And just think how much paper I'll be wasting using this week!

(And maybe I'll get to post this comment within the next hour if DNS resolves again anytime soon...)

Added bonus: My dissertation draft is also heavy enough to help press books flat (my own) in the scanner!

I hear you. I'm nothing to go by, but I've been editing since I got back to school. Be that as it may--it is just so exciting and wonderful. I knew it would be any minute now :)
