White Christmas in Toronto
snowing, big fluffy white flakes. Then there was a dash, just
a dash mind you, of freezing rain and then the temperature
plunged as a cold front moved in to give us a clear blue sky on
Christmas day.
The result was a gleaming white landscape where everything was
covered in a thin layer of clear ice. Every twig and branch of
every tree and every piece of scrub were individually encased in
their very own sheath. The sun set on a forest of glass.
Best of all, it wasn't enough ice to damage anything or even bow
the trees over.
