Colin, my boyfriend, is about to leave Toronto. He's in the process of being laid off here, which will invalidate his work visa, so the winter holidays seemed like a good opportunity for him to move back to the UK and find a new job. He has lots of leads already, and by next week, he might even have a new job!

Although he might be back once or twice briefly in the spring, this is probably your last convenient opportunity to meet up with Colin for drinks (or food) before he heads out.

So we'd like to invite you all to join us at the Duke of York from 7 pm on, on Friday, December 17th. The reservation is in my name (Shana), but we'll let them know when we get there that it's also for Colin, so you can ask for the event by either name.
