Chocolate

The bad news: wholesale chocolate's spiked up in price, thanks to this weekend's fiasco in the Ivory Coast.

The good news: Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp, now has a release date (July 15th, 2005), a teaser forthcoming on November 10th, and a rather striking poster to advertise it. (Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] darktouch.)

Speaking on Johnny Depp. Dark Horizons said last week that Pirates of the Caribbean II will start shooting after Christmas. OK, its silly, but its fun...

I am really looking forward to the new version of Charlie. I loved the old movie because of Gene Wilder's Wanka.

I am very curious to see how Wanka is portrayed this new version.
