I wrote to the listed contact person for the Seeing Things: Vision in the Middle Ages graduate student conference which will be next week (October 16th) at Columbia, and she kindly and promptly emailed me the pdf which includes all the conference details. Since I still can't find these details - or this file - publically available online, I've uploaded a copy myself. I'm sure they won't mind a bit of extra advertising. You can download the pdf file (264K) if you're interested.

Thanks! Now I know what time I'm up to present.

I wonder if anyone will do a paper on Medieval squinting?

I'm not going to the Columbia conference, no, but with a name like "Seeing Things", I wanted to know if anyone was obviously going to be presenting on something related to eyeglasses at all, so that I could write to them and request a copy of their paper.

There's a chance I might go to the Binghamton conference, though.
