owlfish at 04:47pm on 05/03/2004I've been impatiently waiting to hear back from the Three Societies * program committee as to whether or not my proposed paper was accepted. They said they'd let us know by the end of February, and while it's not too much later now, it is later. I still haven't heard, but the program is now up on their website and I'm on it. As a consequence, I'll be in Halifax the first weekend in August: my first trip to the maritimes!
* Every few years, the British Society for the History of Science, the Canadian Society for the History of Science, and the History of Science Society have a joint meeting. This'll be one of them.

BTW, if you want to look around the fort but only want a quick peek inside - if you go in the last half-hour before closing (4:30-5:00 IIRC) you can get in for free.
