Oooh, neat! I'm glad G. can come too. 7pm for the restaurant.

I still don't know if cake afterwards is happening, since I don't know how long dinner will take. I don't have it yet - but I should have time to buy it tomorrow afternoon. And if I do that and no one comes by afterwards, then I'll have to have a cake party soon!

How's this - I'll tell C. to bring his mobile and will email you the number. That way if you want, you can check on what we're up to. If nothing else, you can come by the restaurant later on and just have dessert or a drink or just be social or something. I'd think we should be there until 10ish.

I have cake! I also have more paper plates and am housecleaning! I haven't warned anyone else that I was thinking of doing this (not true. I told Liz.), but even if just a few people come over after, it'll be good and I won't have to eat the whole cake myself. (It has cheery flowers on it - a Queen of Tarts confection of chocolate cake and mousse. I haven't tried this kind yet.)
