The fourth Ikea in Toronto opens next week. Yes, that's right. We have three, and there's going to be four of them. Full-sized stores. But the new one will be different. It'll be the world's first Ikea where you don't have to go through the entire store in order to leave it again. You can skip most of it, and just go to the areas you're interested in. They're hoping it'll encourage repeat visitors, even if the average customer will leave the store with fewer items in hand each time.

I went to Ikea once to buy one of their big blue bags for putting my climbing rope in. It was the first time I went. No one warned me you had to go all around the frith-damned store just to get out again... Then again, it's being given a makeover ATM, so hopefully it will be more free-flow...

How is that fair? I have to drive to New Jersey if I want to go to IKEA, and you've got 4? I shall sulk now.
