I hope your trip is going well. I've tried to call you off and on for the past 5 days, but to no avail. Nothing's wrong and nothing's urgent. In case you have net access before I can track you down any other way, I'm coming home to visit in another week and a half, and visiting my sister en route!

It turns out my parents were flying home today from Italy. They've left me a message. I'm going home to Iowa. It was an easier semi-last minute plan to make, under my indecisive and overwhelmed-by-feelings-of-responsibility state.
