I'm very fond of Mozilla. Everything except the "Close Other Tabs" option in the contextual menu which I manage to hit by accident approximately every other week. This is particularly a problem since I'm prone to leaving my web browser open for days at a time, accumulating webpages which I have good intentions of doing various things with, but don't... not yet. So when I accidentally hit "Close Other Tabs," the program very efficiently closes every open tab I have, usually none of which I have yet bookmarked. It's annoying, and there doesn't seem to be any way to turn it off at the moment.
Today, I did something equivalent, but far, far worse on the scale of aggravatingness. With lots of programs open, while attempting to click on "Force Quit..." under the system menu.... I accidentally hit "Shutdown" instead. Which my system very obligingly did, quickly and efficiently shutting down all my programs (including several windows full of tabs in Mozilla), all without asking me to confirm whether or not this is what I wanted to have happen.
I can't find a way to turn on a confirmation box for "Shutdown" anymore than I can for "Close Other Tabs." And the bugzilla debate over what to do about this particular issue doesn't look as if it's going anywhere at the moment.

Silly computers
Re: Silly computers
At least that's the first and only time (so far) I've hit Shutdown by accident. Usually it's just the "Close other tabs" thing that gets me, which really, should be a lesson for me to act on my outstanding tabs more frequently, and bookmark them or something on a daily basis.
