While the keywords which have found my website lately are no where near as interesting as [livejournal.com profile] forthright's, a number left me wondering what the person was actually searching for. I've edited out most of the least interesting search terms. Which just shows I don't realliy get many interesting ones.

medieval technology This is reliably my top search term
early technology And this is reliably the second. Perhaps I should post more on the subject?
anne mccaffrey online manuscripts Out of curiousity, are they still called manuscripts if they're scanned in or typed electronically?
sailor moon tarot cards Neat. I never realized there were such things. There are pictures of them here, but they're sold out.
weblogs How specific.
anglo-saxon history professors
ball themes Best not to ask.
christopher marlowe museum london I hadn't realized there was one.
computerstore in toronto Try College & Spadina if you haven't found one yet.
english literature weblogs
ethnicity in islamic spain
good medieval websites I hope I helped.
arabic weblogs Is there an unfilled need here?
acquaintances What were they looking for?
canadian anime schools
death/burial of islam I know why they found me, but what were they after?
find people in london Go there and open your eyes.
find relative uk london I'm sure that I was of no help whatsoever to this person.
harp lessons cambridge ma

nah, if it's typed, then it's an edition for sure. But I don't know about scans. I believe that would be a facsimile or just, a scan.

Right?

Quite literally, it's not a manu scripta unless it's written by hand. I was wondering if the modern definition of what counted as a manuscript had evolved since the latin.

After all, what if the writer never wrote it by hand? Many writers only work on computers these days. It doesn't make sense to me to call the original draft of something, even on a computer, an edition.

oh wow, you're right. I wonder what the OED has to say about the modern definition of Manuscript.

My one-man writing firm is called "manu scripta". Everything I write is typed into the computer by hand. I therefore see no contradiction.
But thanks for the challenge! - and for your thought-provoking page.
