Wouldn't it be physically uncomfortable to read the report under the circumstances?

hilarious! that's the kind of error that voice-recognition software sometimes makes... wonder if the person who wrote the cfp was using viavoice or something.

Hope your conference went well! I was thinking of you this weekend and thinking you're probably having a great, if stressful time.

Voice errors

Voice recognition software would account for the other typo in the same paragraph. "Tow other researchers are closely working..."

The conference went very well! I had good company in the form of my guests, and, best of all for the conference's sake, I can safely say that nothing went wrong this weekend, which is astounding, given how much coordination was necessary all around. It was also particularly good to see such a large number of last year's attendees returning again. Meanwhile, I've been operating on sleep deprivation for the last 4 or 5 days, and my feet have been achy. Still, I'm feeling much better for sleeping in a bit this morning.

As a mis-recognition of "two" I'd expect either "too" or "to", not "tow" -- I'd guess it's the spill-chucker instead...
