I went outside into the snow this morning with birdsong in my ears and the smell of chocolate in my nose (we live near a chocolate factory). It took me over an hour of trudging and waiting for streetcars to make it to school. It's just as well I had allowed lots of extra time in my morning, although I had not allocated it to trudging and waiting, but to book-finding. I imagine the tutorial this afternoon will be a smaller than usual one as a consequence of the city's slowness today.
