Up: A movie about eating dinner at 3:30 pm?

We saw Up last night for the first time. The DVD slip case gives me the following overview of the movie:

In this "coming of old age" story, a seventysomething hero, alongside his clueless wilderness ranger sidekick, travels the globe, fighting beasts and villains, and eating dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon.

I missed the part of the movie which was about eating dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon. Did you?

WTF? I missed that too! Maaaaybe the bi when they get invited to Muntz's secret hide-out? I don't think that counts. Probably a reference to all the stuff with the chocolate bars but, um, yeah, I'm confused too.

Cute film. Dug is my favourite ever.

I would think the chocolate thing would safely be categorized snacking - and it happened both day and night.

The meal at Muntz's is the only real option I can think of - it's daylight when they arrive, although quite when in the day, I don't know. But the people don't actually eat any of the dinner: the dogs do.

I missed that bit too. Perhaps it was cut out, or perhaps it was just a reminder that "Oh, by the way, the main character is an old dude, isn't that subversive and awesome?" (which it was, but we didn't need a cheesy reminder)
