The Random Recipe Generator, whose comments, preserving recipes, are things are marvel. (via [livejournal.com profile] snake_soup and xkcd)

Here is one of the recipes I have uncovered from the generator, for your delectation.

Water Tart
Serves 2
You will need:

* 20ml water
* 10ml soy sauce
* 40g self-raising flour

Instructions:

1. pre-heat the oven to 210 C
2. eat the self-raising flour
3. throw the water away
4. slice the soy sauce
5. bake for 80 minutes and serve hot

Yum.

Zingy Apple Sauce And Apple Sauce Soup
Serves 2
You will need:
60ml apple sauce
10g sprouts
Instructions:
pre-heat the oven to 200 C
microwave the sprouts
throw the sprouts away
defrost the apple sauce
bake for 50 minutes and serve hot

That has actual potential for edibility.

My favorite recipe name so far - the recipe itself is negligible - is "Essence Of Vanilla A La Essence Of Vanilla".

Lemon Juice With Lemon Juice Dressing
Serves 2
You will need:

* 150g anchovies
* 3 slices of bread
* 140ml lemon juice

Instructions:

1. whisk the slices of bread
2. put the anchovies in the saucepan
3. microwave the lemon juice
4. serve chilled

Yum.

(Do you know Edward Lear's nonsense recipes? I grew up with them, and the phrase "Throw the whole out of the window as quickly as possible" still lingers...)
