Today I will go to claim my carrel, order business cards, and, if I have time, buy my airplane tickets for Indiana. I've finally remembered to email 2 faculty members for OGS recommendations and order my transcript copy. There's a talk on the relationship between art and music this afternoon, and a group expedition to go movie watching.
And then it's a three day weekend!
Notice the sad lack of any actual work in this list. I had been hoping to have a productive day working on my conference paper. But I can use much of the weekend for that. As soon as the conference paper is out of the way, I can go back to doing "real" work again. Soon, I hope!
If I had finished revising my web site by now, I could include that on my business card as well - but it's not at all ready yet. Depending on how my paper's going, I may well work on that as well this weekend.
