owlfish at 02:25pm on 15/04/2005While I'm all in favor of weblogs being given fair ranking for websearches, I find it highly disconcerting to do a Google search for a topic of interest to me... and find my own post on the subject among the top ranked links. If I'm doing a websearch for a topic, it's usually because I don't know much about it. If my work on the subject is highly ranked... well, no one ever said Search Engines of any type were able to analyze the quality of content.
Today's astonishment: finding my post on Splendido ranked in the top ten hits for "Splendido".
