The current ch. 2 (cc.2) has been my weakest chapter for a while. Even after editing, it still is. It needs fleshing out in many places. If I have an hour or three spare tomorrow night or Tuesday morning, I'll return to the cc.2 and try to fix the worst of its lacks. Ch. 1 is in decent shape though after the round of editing earlier today. I have 6 chapters in all. (Four of which have cc numbers because I'm still trying to decide what order they should be in.)

Thanks to the kind generosity of carmen_sandiego, I also now have a dissertation mascot, shown here posed in front of cc.2. You can't tell from the photo, but it's a butterfly with heart-shaped wings which doubles as a wearable pin.
