tsenft's dissertation defense is being webcast. It'll last until 3:30pm EST today. I've never had a chance to watch a defense before, so I'm using this as practical research. The University of Toronto only allows closed defenses, although all faculty members are welcome, so there are no locally availably examples. (I overgeneralize - I have no idea what defense politics are at York or Ryerson.)
Edit: All done. Hopefully she passed!
