Every museum, nature center, and informative plaque by the side of the road is called an "interpretive center" in Nova Scotia.
We never had a problem staying on a route or road. We often had problems finding our way to any other route (but never for very long).
Every town has a tag line, prominently displayed on the "Welcome to our town..." signs outside every town and village, except for those right around Halifax. Most were historic or touristically-oriented. My favorite was for the town of Port Mouton: "Sheep Overboard!"
