The weather was been wonderfully clement.
I've had lots of grading to do.
I am catching up on sleep.
I've been wait-listed for one of the few things I've applied to do next year (so far!), which is better than an outright rejection.
The annual CMS Halloween party is tonight, and I've finally figured out a costume. Alas, it involves less excessive last-minute scrambling than most, and doesn't begin to compete with my more spectacular confections from years past, but it's a costume which is what's important.
