I was diligent this weekend and researched possible funding sources for next year, presuming I finish in time. Alas, I was not so diligent in noting down the URLs as soon as I located them. Instead, I fell prey to my usual bad habit of leaving lots of windows and tabs open to deal with later. Today, of course, Mozilla crashed from excess of use, lack of restarting, and cumulative memory leaks.

A rather different medium is going away on a much larger time scale: the slide projector. Kodak recently announced that it will no longer be producing slide projectors. It's the end of an era. I feel sorry for art historians, and am glad I've been investing in overheads, even if the picture quality isn't as good.
