Pumpkins at Chenonceau

The main reason to go to Chenonceau is to see the beauty of the chateau reflected in the mirror-like slow-flowing Cher river. But as long as we were there, back in September, we saw the rest of the grounds too: the easily-managed maze, the various gardens, and acres of vegetable garden which both supply the on-site restaurants and the raw materials for the floral and vegetal displays throughout the chateau.
