I knew it had been a really bad week for the relatives and cats of friends dying when I was *relieved* to realize that the yet-another-death I was reading mourning for today was one I already knew about.
It seemed par for the course when, right after reading about cat Nicodemus's death yesterday, I went out to run errands - and passed two men walking the other way, one with a cat held unleashed in his arms. "...a tumour along his spine..." I overhead, about the cat-in-arms.
At least the sun has been shining and warmth has finally returned to May?
