Yesterday's photo shoot was part of easterbunny's ongoing project, The Streets. Over an ongoing series of photo shoots, she is documenting Londons street signs, along with often-entertaining interpretations of their names. You can see some of yesterday's photos here and here.
Today, the photo-theme continued apace. It's the first day of spring break and the server which hosts my job is down, so I spent the day tackling paper filing and photo sorting. The photo sorting was also in the name of helping my sister with some paperwork. The photos I have in boxes here cover all my years from post-York to when I started using C.'s old digital camera.
The camera I was using for the first few of those years was terrible. Most of the photos are dark, blurred, splotted. I should have cleaned my lens, but it wouldn't have fixed all the problems. There were so many friends in them I haven't seen in a long time. There were photos documenting events whose details I'd half-forgotten: the SF gather, the SHOT writing workshop, our trip to Vienna.
( Here's one of the photos I found, from a trip to St. Louis.... )
