owlfish at 05:31pm on 25/07/2003The world has been kind to me today. I'm typing this from my very own computer! (Caveat: Just in case, I'm avoiding all my usual USB attachments in order to up the odds of continuing to have a working computer for the rest of today.)
The restaurant where I had lunch gave me a free dessert (chocolate ganache/mousse cake). Mmmm.
The UofT bookstore was having a 20 percent off sale, so I bought a book I've been coveting for a few months.
And my computer is back home and functioning!
My mother sent me orchids, and I'm plotting an evening of birthday revelry. All in all, not a bad day, and it's not over, so there's still room for more goodness in it!
