You know, I thought I was a reasonably fast reader until today. Now, as far as I can tell, it took me longer to read the OotP than almost anyone else. It took me a whole 10 and a half hours. [livejournal.com profile] cliosfolly seems to have finished in 5 hours, [livejournal.com profile] innostrantsa in 6.5, and [livejournal.com profile] aliciam made it through in an astonishing 3 hours.

How do any of you get anything out of a book at that speed?

to chunter v. to mutter/mumble/grumble.
Used in West Midlands dialect (England), especially in Birmingham. (Although most of the OED examples from the 18th and 19th centuries involved Yorkshire.)

(The Lonely Planet British Phrasebook, p. 216; used self-explanatorily in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix)

I've reorganized the "weblogs read" portion of the sidebar on the main view of this weblog. Each link how has a title as well, so there is more information than just the name.

Commentary on categorizing... )

So... what do you think? Should I be more personal with the titles? Have I obviously miscategorized anyone? Your proofreading and opinions are appreciated.
