... has my email gone to? I don't know if I need to redirect it or not. I can't check my local email account right now to find out if it's all getting successfully stored or bounced at the moment. Maybe I should redirect some of it, just as a safety measure...

Today - grocery store, laundry, tidying up, and lots of latin, in the hopes of not having to do very much of it during the week.

Last night - a Monty Python-themed Halloween party (grail in the window! One of the hosts dressed up perfectly as Zoot! bunny cookies with sharp pointy almond sliver teeth! parrot hanging upside down from the ceiling!) and a birthday party. They were different parties, but not too far away from each other.

While coming back from groceries, we saw a man climbing across a roof and through a window of a house. C. called to him a few times, but no response. He asked the woman in the house across the way to call the police. She said she would, but never came back out. We don't know if she did. The crawling guy came out the front door a few minutes later and claimed he lived there, or that it was his girlfriend's house, (a little unclear) and that's how he got in when he forgot his keys. He went back inside. 15 minutes later, the police still hadn't come so we gave up and went home.

Either my ISP has been hacked or else they renewed my account a few weeks ago and then deleted it this weekend. Either way, at least for the next day, it's going to be useless to me. It looks to be several days of fun and games with email redirects. Lucky me.

The whole point of boingboing is to find the strange, wierd, and wonderful. This qualifies.
