Only half an hour until I start the journey to the airport where I aim to be entirely too early for my sister's flight. I'm likely to be bored. This overkill precaution is a consequence of the last time I tried to meet C. at the airport. I made it to the airport on time, but the shuttle to the correct terminal made me 10 minutes later for his flight's arrival. I waited and waited. I called his mobile. His flight had been early and he'd taken a taxi directly home.

I've never tried to meet anyone at the Toronto airport since then. But I'm going to try to do it today.
