Punching holes has thus far occupied the smallest portion of my day but has made me feel the most productive. I'm finally filing away bank statements, tuition statements and the like from the last year or two, part of my pre-sister-visit organizational push. That, and the nicer my working environment, the happier I am to work in it.

Brunch was, as it is so often, at Mitzi's. This time we went with Jenny (as in, Centre Jenny) and the pancake was a lovely balance between sweet and sour: cherry compote with buttered almonds and whipped cream. They have such an inspired cook! The walk over was beautiful - the weather's recovered from yesterday's gloom and is now lovely and pleasant out, with clear blue skies.

If blonds will die out due to rarity in 200 years, then what about red-heads? I must have been wrong in thinking red hair even rarer than blond. Both are popular bottle choices.
