I 'm tentatively declaring last year's MA thesis finished. Tentatively because there's always something else to do. And it's not the best. The goal in these past weeks were to eliminate the obvious errors, spelling, grammar, and fundamental sense problems, but not to spend the time to actually make it good. On the bright side, I'm proud to say that, thanks to the editorial assistance of cliosfolly and skeller, the abstract is just about perfect.

Tommorrow: go to school, print thing out, get a bunch of copies made, bind most of them (cheaply), submit the one or two they actually want, and then go home and do slews of Latin in preparation for Wednesday!

At long last, a "real" version of the Lord of the Rings/Two Towers trailer is available on line. (There've been filmed-in-theater versions since it was appended to the first movie, but they're not nearly so good to watch). I'm looking forward especially to seeing more of how they do Ents. There's so little of them in the current trailer.
